Natosha Rogers Makes Debut for Hansons-Brooks Distance ProjectBy Adam Kopet Anne-Marie Blaney and Futsum Zienasellassie were the winners of Saturday's Great Cow Harbor 10K in Northport, New York. Blaney won the women's division in 33:42. Behind her, Natosha Rogers beat out Mia Behm for second, running 34:04 and 34:06, respectively. Aisling Cuffe finished fourth in 34:12 and Olivia Pratt was fifth in 34:22. Blaney, Rogers and Pratt all run for the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project. It was Rogers' debut race for the team. Zienasellassie won the race in 29:35, three seconds ahead of Donn Cabral. Philo Germano was third in 29:44. It was a close finish for fourth with Frankline Tonui running 29:53 and M.J. Erb running 29:55. In all, six men broke 30 minutes for 10K. More news |
